If I could speak to one
species of animals I would choose to be able to speak to a bird, specifically
an eagle because I would like to know what they are capable of perceiving since
they have and incredible eyesight and I would ask an eagle what is their definition
of freedom because they are capable of flying anywhere they want without any
restrictions.
I would ask an eagle
what does it see when it flying miles in the air when it can overlook a city. The
different things people are doing, I would ask if it sees people doing anything
to save its environment. I know an eagle would communicate its anger toward
humans because they are destroying their habitat, destroying forest for our
consumption of wood. I would speak to an eagle about what it has seen works to
save forest and I would try to plan a way to help both humans and the wildlife.
I would ask an eagle
how does it feel to be able to travel to any place in the world without anyone asking
for passport or asking, where are from? I would ask the eagle if it considers
itself as the only mammal in the world to be free. I would tell the eagle about
my life, how every day I have to cross the border to visit my family I lose my
freedom because I cannot return to my house if I cannot prove I was born in the
United States or that I have a piece of paper that says I am eligible to be in
that country.
I think that speaking to
an eagle would give an accurate meaning of what freedom is after all it is the
symbol of freedom, but are we free like an eagle is?
