9. Given the authority to establish a holiday, what would you choose to commemorate? Why? What would the celebration look like?

If I had the authority to establish a holiday I would choose to commemorate the day that Muammar Gaddafi died because it is a symbol that people working together can overthrow a corrupt government where people did not have a voice of opinion. Although the death of someone like Gaddafi should not be celebrated, it represented the end of a dictatorship. It would remember everyone that an oppressing government should not be allowed to reign with terror any country in the world. The 20th of October would be remembered as the day the masses stood up for themselves against tyranny.
